Tonight will be the June full moon, visible 10-11 June 2025, and it will be the lowest full Moon in the sky for nearly two decades: a phenomenon that won’t occur again until 2043. This moon is known by many names based on culture and location:
Blooming Moon
Strawberry Moon
Rose Moon
Hot Moon
Mead Moon
Berries Ripen Moon
Green Corn Moon
Honey Moon
Hatching Moon
Birth Moon
Moon of Receiving
A moon so close you might feels its pull on your internal tides; you might feel the call of ancestors (of blood or place) who used this moon to tell time and plan activites (like harvesting strawberries or honey). A moon so close that darkness is given light.
Today’s early-release podcast episode is a gentle yet grounding meditation aligned with June’s Strawberry Moon. You'll be guided to connect with the natural world around you and slow your breath—helping you release mental overwhelm and foster inner resilience.
Through this full moon practice, you’ll discover:
🌕How to create a calming ritual that supports your mental health
🍓Techniques to release anxiety using breath, sound, and scent awareness
🍯A powerful sense of connection—to yourself, to nature, and to human history
Press play and give yourself space to soften your edges, breathe with intention, and realign with peace.
Thank you to Nick McMahan for today’s nature field recordings, sound design, and editing; and thank you to Brianna Nielsen for production and editing support.
There is much happening in our country and around the world that breaks the heart and threatens our spirit. May we remember to lean into our meditation practice for emotional support and wisdom, and to offer up the fruits of our practice for all beings everywhere 🙏
