Meditation Music: Lunch in the Bamboo Forest
Bamboo Forest by Nick McMahan
Our Lunch Break Meditation Music from Nick McMahan:
After listening and recording Hawaiian birds high on the slopes of Haleakala, I traveled along the road to Hana. Winding through dense jungle and glimpsing the bright shoreline, I first traveled along a narrow path through a bamboo forest. Unlike anything I'd seen before, the sound of the wind passing through the thick grove stopped me in my tracks and I listened. Almost musical and definitely rhythmic, the sound of bamboo would come and go with the breeze. Far enough from the ocean to not hear the thunder of the waves I set up for a long recording session.
